Comparing ownership structures

These are conceptual research categories, not classifications of a verified Aruba product. Marketing names may overlap. Ask an independent adviser to classify the actual arrangement from its documents.

Do not rank before matching the facts

Compare the same dimensions: interest, evidence, use, control, cost, risk and exit. A structure that fits one person’s objectives may not fit another’s. Familiar words such as deeded, fractional, club or timeshare should trigger document questions, not replace them.

Separate the use decision from the ownership decision

Compare a proposed purchase with renting accommodation when needed, but do not compare only an entry price with a single holiday cost. Include recurring obligations, flexibility, administrative work and the possibility that you cannot sell when you want.

A useful next step

Read the calendar guide and exit guide. Record unknowns and ask which specialist should resolve them. This comparison does not recommend any investment, promoter or transaction.
