Questions for advisers
Ask professionals to confirm their role, scope, fees and any relationship to the proposed seller. Not every professional involved in completion is advising you on every issue. These questions are preparation, not advice on an actual agreement.

Legal interest and evidence
- What exact right would I acquire and how would I prove it?
- Which independent property, entity and authority records should be reviewed?
- Which liabilities or guarantees could extend beyond regular contributions?
- What can change without my agreement, and what remedy exists?
Tax and cross-border circumstances
- Which jurisdictions and personal facts matter?
- Which acquisition, use, income or disposal events need advice?
- What current rules and source dates support the answer?
- Which records and reporting responsibilities would continue?
Use, control and exit
- Which calendar rule governs a conflict?
- Who holds reserves and authorizes exceptional spending?
- What happens if the manager fails or another participant defaults?
- What restrictions, expenses and continuing duties apply if I leave?
Leave with a written action list
For each answer, record the supporting document, assumptions, unresolved issue and next reviewer. Ask what must be resolved before signing and before any payment. Read our adviser-meeting guide for a practical preparation sequence.
